Design & Details
The standard bar is struck from 1 gram of .9999 fine silver and features the official “25 Years of Magic” anniversary logo, commemorating 25 years since Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone first reached movie theaters in 2001. The bar displays its weight and purity along with the Royal Dutch Mint manufacturer mark and is presented in a character-themed Finecard featuring Draco Malfoy.
Draco Malfoy enters Hogwarts in the same year as Harry Potter and quickly becomes one of his most persistent rivals. A member of Slytherin House and the son of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy, Draco is raised in a prominent pure-blood wizarding family with close ties to Lord Voldemort’s followers. Unlabeled Blind Box
The sealed blind boxes are completely unlabeled by character. This allows the boxes to remain organized by character when desired, or to be mixed together for a fully randomized opening where even the character inside remains unknown until the box is opened.
The Gold Chase
The original Draco Malfoy character mintage is limited to 5,000 total pieces. Hidden within that mintage are only 50 gold versions, meaning just 1% of the Draco Malfoy release was produced as a gold chase.
Because the blind boxes are sealed and unlabeled, the exterior packaging does not reveal whether the bar inside is the standard .9999 fine silver issue or one of the 50 gold chase pieces. The metal is revealed only when the box is opened.
