Here is the complete policy with the payment-processing fee language fully integrated. # Returns & Refunds Policy At The Gold Baron, we want every customer to receive exactly what they ordered and to understand our return policy before making a purchase. Because we sell several different types of products, return eligibility depends on the product purchased. Please review the following terms before placing your order. ## Precious Metals, Bullion, Coins, and Gold Products Due to market volatility, all sales of precious metals and bullion products are final and cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded. This includes, but is not limited to: * Gold, silver, platinum, and other precious-metal bullion * Coins, bars, and rounds * Goldbacks * Collectible precious-metal products * Natural gold nuggets and specimens * Graded or certified precious-metal products Precious-metal prices and collectible market values can change quickly. Once an order is placed, the price is locked in and the sale is considered final. If The Gold Baron agrees to accept a return as an exception, or if a product is returned without authorization, additional fees may apply. These may include a restocking fee, market-loss charges, interest, return shipping expenses, credit card fees, payment-processing fees, and any other applicable costs. Any applicable fees will be deducted from the refund amount. Sending an item back without prior authorization does not guarantee that a refund will be issued. ## Blind Boxes and Mystery Products All blind box, mystery box, mystery pack, chase product, and similar randomized-product sales are final. Blind boxes cannot be returned or exchanged because the identity, design, rarity, tier, value, or contents of the product are intentionally unknown at the time of purchase. We do not accept returns because a buyer: * Did not receive the design or character they wanted * Received a duplicate * Did not receive a chase or top-tier item * Disagrees with the value of the item received * Opened the product and changed their mind * Is dissatisfied with the randomized outcome This policy applies whether the blind box is opened or unopened. If the wrong product was shipped, an item was missing, or the product arrived damaged because of an error on our part, please contact us so we can make it right. ## Paydirt Returns Paydirt may be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery only when the product remains completely unopened and in its original sealed condition. To qualify for a return: * The return request must be made within 30 calendar days of delivery. * The paydirt bag, container, seal, and packaging must remain unopened and untampered with. * The product must be returned in the same condition in which it was received. * The buyer must contact The Gold Baron and receive approval before shipping the product back. Paydirt that has been opened, unsealed, panned, processed, searched, tested, altered, partially used, or removed from its original packaging cannot be returned or refunded. Approved paydirt refunds will be issued only after the returned product has been received and inspected. ## Return Shipping The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is required because of an error made by The Gold Baron. Examples of our error include: * The wrong product was shipped. * An item was missing from the order. * The product was materially different from what was ordered. * The product arrived damaged due to an issue within our control. When the return is not the result of our error, the buyer is responsible for securely packaging, shipping, tracking, and insuring the returned item. The Gold Baron is not responsible for returned packages that are lost, stolen, misdirected, or damaged while being shipped back to us. ## Original Shipping Charges Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless the return is the result of an error made by The Gold Baron. Shipping charges paid to a carrier will not be refunded simply because a customer changes their mind or chooses to return an eligible product. ## Product Condition and Packaging All approved returns must include the original product, packaging, certificates of authenticity, assay cards, capsules, holders, accessories, paperwork, and any other materials that were included with the order. Products that have been opened, damaged, altered, cleaned, removed from sealed packaging, or returned incomplete may be denied a refund or may be subject to additional fees. ## Incorrect, Missing, or Damaged Orders Please contact us promptly if your order arrives damaged, contains the wrong product, or is missing an item. Please include: * Your name * Your order number * A description of the problem * Clear photographs of the product * Photographs of the packaging and shipping materials, when applicable Please keep all packaging until the issue has been reviewed. We may need photographs or the original packaging to complete a carrier claim or determine the appropriate resolution. Depending on the circumstances, we may replace the product, send the missing item, provide store credit, or issue a refund. ## Refund Processing and Deductions Approved refunds will be issued only after the returned product has been received and inspected. Refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method. Credit card fees, debit card fees, PayPal fees, payment-processing fees, and any other transaction fees charged in connection with the original purchase are non-refundable and will be deducted from the approved refund amount, to the extent permitted by law. The refund may also be reduced by any applicable: * Original shipping and handling charges * Return shipping costs * Restocking fees * Market-loss charges * Interest * Payment-processing fees * Costs resulting from missing or damaged packaging or accessories * Other applicable expenses associated with the transaction or return The customer will receive the remaining balance after all applicable deductions have been made. After a refund is issued, additional processing time may be required by the buyer’s bank, credit-card provider, PayPal, or other payment service before the funds appear in the buyer’s account. ## Return Authorization Do not send a product back without contacting The Gold Baron first. Returns sent without prior approval may be refused, returned to the sender, or held until the buyer pays any additional shipping or handling costs.
